Our Pet Photo Competition raised £120!
Raising money to help animals in need of care

October 02, 2025 in Procurement Services
On Wednesday the 27th of August, we launched a Pet Photo Competition as part of our Social Value initiative, to fundraise for The Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary, which is one of our chosen charities for this year.
This was an internal competition where team members across Procurement Services submitted photos of their pets, voted for their favourite picture and donated an amazing total of £120 on our online fundraising page!
Our winners!
We had a tie between three people for the highest number of votes:
- Victoria Huggins from the Lifecycle team, with her submission of sleepy Tilly!
- Teresa Gray from the Brand Relationship Team, with her adorable submission of Pip!
- Deb Ruddy from the Lifecycle Team, with her submission of flower-hungry Tilly!
Congratulations to all three of you for coming first place, and thank you to everyone who submitted a photo, we had a total of 30 submissions, so it was very difficult to choose our favourites!
Also, a huge thank you to all those who generously donated towards the cause, your money is going towards helping the sanctuary care for vulnerable animals in need.
About the sanctuary
The Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary admits and rehomes around 500 animals every year, and since opening in 1967 have managed to help over 30,000 animals find their forever home!
Many of their animals come from difficult backgrounds, with a range of behavioural and medical needs. They deal with each case individually by earning their trust, understanding their needs, and always putting the animals first. Their dedicated team works hard to give each animal a safe space, veterinary treatment, and if possible – a loving forever home.
We believe that small acts of kindness can make a huge difference! If you would like to find out more about the sanctuary’s incredible work or get involved, please visit the Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary website.
Together, we can help give these animals the happy, healthy lives they deserve.
